Cambropallace Trilobite


Prehistoric bottom dwelling sea creature related to the modern day horseshoe crab. Trilobites are one of the first living creatures to develop complex eyes. Trilobites had three body divisions: (Cephalon, Thorax, and Pygidium)

There are about 20,000 different species of trilobites. This specimen was found in the Sahara desert in Morocco and it dates back to the "Cambrian" period (542-488) million years ago.
